RMA POLICY By submitting a Return Material Authorization request, you agree to the following: General RMA Policy All returnable material MUST have an RMA Number The customer must ensure the following in order to guarantee that the return will be honored: - Matching serial numbers of returned items – ie. Same as shipped
- Proper packaging of the returned product
- Within stated RMA and Warranty periods
- Ensuring all accessories are returned with product
- Providing the reason for return and a detailed description of the problem
- Merchandise must be post marked within 10 business days after the RMA number was issued, otherwise RMA number will no longer be valid and package will be refused.
Laptop Service Parts (LSP) will not accept any products back that have been physically damaged, burned, abused, misused, neglected, repaired or modified. Product must be returned in the same condition it was received; otherwise all warranties are voided and no refund of any kind will be given. Product(s) will be shipped back to customer at their expense. - In case of exchange/replacement, the original warranty period transfers to the exchanged/replaced item.
- All returned packages, due to customer error or refusal, will be charged 25% restocking fee on price of merchandise only (minimum $25.00 charge) and no refund on shipping charges.
- LSP reserves the right to make a decision based on test results, whether to replace, repair, or to refund in accordance with our return policy.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable in all cases where the restocking fee applies.
- RMA Processing may take up to 2-weeks from the time we receive the returned product.
- Orders with part(s) totaling under $20.00 in value, may be subject to a $5.00 minimum order fee.
DOA - Warranty is for replacement only. If product is returned as dead on arrival (DOA) it is tested – if product test good 25% restock fee + $25 test fee will be charged to customers credit card used on the order.
GPR - Good Part Returns will be charge a 25% restock fee.
WPO - Wrong Part Ordered – 25% restock fee.
WPS - Wrong Part Shipped – is not compatible nor does it have the same part number as ordered. – Call tag will be issued and correct product will be shipped.
Laptop Service Parts Fraud Protection LSP takes measures to prevent RMA fraud - Serial Number recording and cataloging Tamper-evident seals Manufacturer or prerecorded specification matching In the event of fraud, the product submitted to our RMA department will be returned to the customer at their expense, including RMA testing, processing, and shipping fees and will receive no refund of any kind.
